Chris began his career in 2008, spending the first 10 years in Washington DC / NYC working at a top 10 CPA firm in addition to an in house tax department at a Fortune 500 company before relocating to Charleston, SC.

He brings vast experience related to complex personal and corporate tax planning and preparation in many industries including but not limited to professional services, real estate, ecommerce, hospitality, healthcare, finance, entertainment, etc. His tax planning work includes business entity formation and structuring for liquidity events, tax optimization for business owners, advising clients through complex real estate tax situations and section 1202 qualified small business stock gain exclusions.

Chris has a Master of Science Degree in Accounting (2008) with a focus in Taxation and a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting (2007) from James Madison University.

Chris enjoys traveling, the beach, and fitness. Whenever he has a chance and conditions are right, he’s out surfing.
